Linda left school at 15 with no qualifications, mildly dyslexic; she has lived most of my life in North West London. She was a model in her teens and twenties doing photographic and promotion work.

Linda went to University in 1992 to study Spanish, Science and Technology at Middx University for four years and travelled extensively in Central and South America including a 9-month stay in Costa Rica studying at the University of Costa Rica. After which she spent a further 6 months travelling through Central and South America and in Trinidad and Tobago where she wrote her Spanish thesis on the History of Carnival in Trinidad.

For the last 16 year she has practiced as a holistic therapist with her own practice in Hendon and worked two days per week for the John Lewis partnership doing massage and reflexology therapy for the staff. She did a writing course with the Writers Bureau and has also done four short Open University courses which she found very useful.

Linda writes articles and short stories and has had several printed in magazines such as: The Lady, Prediction, Yours, Fate and Fortune, Here’s Heath and Holistic Health and Healing magazines

Her first book: Can’t Sleep Won’t Sleep (Reasons and remedies for insomnia,) took three years to research and write and was published in 2005. Her second book: Dreamtime (A History, Mythology, Physiology and Guide to the Interpretation of Dreams,) published in 2008. Her third book: Aphrodisiacs, Aphrodite’s Secrets, (Sexuality, Sexual dysfunction and an A-Z, history and anecdotal use of aphrodisiacs,) published in 2009. A forthcoming book: Mystic Moon, (A history of the world’s mythology surrounding the moon,) to be published this year.

She has also written and self-published three novels: Yes and Pigs Might Fly, finalist in the Wishing Shelf best fiction awards 2012. set in England and Greece. African Nights, an adventure and love story set in London and in South Africa., and her latest book: Earthscape; a long way from home, a sci-fi adventure and romance.

Linda has also self-published a joke book: Jokes, a collection of short stories: The Story Tree, a collection of poetry: My Poetry, and an A-Z of aphrodisiacs as well as several e-books on sleep problems and dreams.

She has also written several new short stories and in the last six months have had two stories commissioned for anthologies.  The Greenacre writers’ anthology and: A wish for Christmas from Alfie Dog publishing. Linda has just completed her latest novel which has the working title: ’An Arranged Wedding’ and is now starting to approach publishers.
